During an epic special episode of her Sirius XM radio show and podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show,” former Fox News Channel personality Megyn Kelly sounded off on CBS News’ biased moderation of the Tuesday, October 1 debate between Minnesota Governor and 2024 Kamala Harris running mate Tim Walz and Senator and 2024 Trump running mate JD Vance.
Particularly, Kelly hammered how the two CBS News moderators, but particularly co-moderator Margaret Brennan, had acted in an obviously biased way against Sen. Vance. An example of that biased moderation is when Brennan, against the rules of the debate, fact-checked Sen. Vance, and the network then cut his mic as he attempted to correct her and note that she had breached the rules.
Kelly, commenting on the debate, began by noting that it was a special episode meant to cover the VP debate, saying, “Hey everyone. I’m Megyn Kelly. Welcome to the Megyn Kelly show and our special live coverage of the vice presidential debate between Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.”
Continuing, she immediately got to the meat of her criticism, noting that the moderators in the debate were quite biased, and did only a bit better of a job than the two ABC News moderators in the debate between former President Donald Trump and VP Kamala Harris. She said, “The moderators were not much better. They were a little better than ABC News.”
