The incident occurred when a 59-year-old driver lost control of their vehicle in Kahala, Honolulu, colliding with a parked car. The driver remains hospitalized and is in serious condition, while a woman from the parked vehicle also received medical attention. The Honolulu police confirmed that speed played a role in the crash, but fortunately, drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors.
